John C Dwyer

Travis Deans

Travis is an Executive Director at Dacland with over 18 years’ experience in property development and finance.

Travis is a Chartered Accountant having started his career at Big 4 accounting firm KPMG. A move into investment banking then saw Travis spend six years at Macquarie Bank as a member of the Melbourne Real Estate team.

Finally, prior to joining Dacland, Travis spent six-and-a-half years as the Chief Financial Officer of Metro Property Development, joining the business as a start-up and helping it to grow nationally with over 60 projects and housing operations in a $3.5 billion portfolio. During this time Travis raised over $1.2 billion in senior debt and helped raise and establish over $300m in joint venture partnerships.

Travis has experienced the property industry from all angles – investment banking, debt financing, equity investments, joint venture partnerships and as a developer. This brings a unique perspective to Dacland and ability to add significant value to the projects in which he is involved.

Lulu Yang
Investment Director

Lulu has over 10 years of experience in finance; with six years with Vermilion Partners, a global investment advisory firm in China and the UK focused on cross-border M&A and market entry strategies.

Lulu is responsible for capital raising, investor relations at project and corporate level.

Marc Akkerman
Development Director

At Dacland, Marc oversees the sales and delivery of an impressive portfolio of projects.

Marc draws on over 13 years’ experience in property and construction, including 5 years at Australia’s largest diversified property company. He has managed the delivery of some of Melbourne’s fastest growing communities, developing strong networks and relationships across the industry.

Monzur Bhuiyan
Financial Controller

Monzur has 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, including 7 years at a top tier accounting firm, with complex clients across a range of industries. Monzur is responsible for accounting and taxation matters across the entire business and projects and adds significant value through his diverse experience.

Lewis Cormie
Senior Development Manager

Lewis is a Senior Development Manager at Dacland with 13 years experience in industrial and residential greenfield development.

Lewis has a Bachelor of Economics degree, a post graduate diploma in Environmental Studies and a graduate certificate in Project Management. Lewis’s working career in Melbourne commenced as a project manager for Davis Langdon in 2001 working on a variety of commercial builds and refurbishments for clients ranging from the Department of Defence, Victoria Police, Coles Myer and Mayne Health. A move was then made to Investa as a Project Manager on their flagship industrial development the Paramount Industrial Estate. Over the next decade Lewis learnt his craft as a Development Manager successfully delivering outcomes in both the industrial and residential space. Having joined Dacland in 2017 he has contributed positively to delivery of the Wynbrook Estate and worked closely with our partner Dahua in launching and delivering the Westwood development in Fraser Rise.
